She looks deserving of a good smash in the face with your crutches. Then again, I feel the urge to post this same comment in every other pic on the site. People suck.
I can’t believe that people refuse to get their butts off of a seat that is PRIORITY for someone elderly or disabled - “paying the same as you did” is no frickin excuse. The transport company states obviously who has first picking of those seats - and these jerkoffs ignore the rules when someone ON CRUTCHES is standing there.
Other people pay to get on the train, too. If you’re so terribly handicapped take the Access A Ride buses; unless, of course, you AREN’T really handicapped. A crutch is hardly an excuse not to ask for a seat. Also, seeing as how it’s on the left from you, this doesn’t even look like a priority seat.
It is very important that she and her bags take two seats, while her kid takes one. It is much more important than that someone on crutches have a seat. I like that she is also saying she will cut a bitch who asks her to be considerate with her eyes.
Clearly said by someone who has never taken the access-a-ride buses. They are USELESS. You have to stand waiting for them for up to 30 minutes and then it can take up to 2 hours to get where you’re going. Useless. Plus, half the time they don’t know where to pick you up so you end up on the street corner waiting anyway.
I found that when I was wearing my ortho boot, the people that noticed and offered me a seat were people looking like they themselves deserved the seat - the very old and the very pregnant.
Why do you invariably assume that these people are willfully ignoring you? The moment i sit down on the train my face is plastered in my book and i don’t look up for anything, i can see myself in the same situation. If you have such a problem with it ask them for the seat, i’d gladly get up for anyone polite enough to ask.
I could be wrong, but this photo looks as though it was taken from a sitting down position.
But you’re right. People should be more observant and thoughtful. The people who did give up their seat for you (who you say looked like they needed it themselves) did so because they are more aware of how difficult it is.
I feel people are becoming nothing but defensive ignorant assholes. This is a very good illustration.
I don’t think this lady or her kid for that matter would like to be treated like this in the unfortunate event they would need those seats because of a physical impairment. Step out those freaking book/cd player stratagems and start acknowledging the person across ,matters as well.People should wake up and do the right thing every once in a while.
I feel for you, kiddo. ): I’ve been on crutches for about two years now. Between the surgery and physical therapy…you get on the damned bus and just wanna sit. But no, of course not.
I’ve seen that look on people’s faces too many damned times, and I’m only 17.
Wow,as if passive-aggressive people weren’t annoying and whiney enough already, one goes and creates a website based on the principal that “people should pay attention to me and notice that I need help and if they don’t they’re bad people”.
Maybe you should try asking for the seat, instead of taking a picture and posting on your whiney, passive-aggressive blog.
I don't take pictures of anyone if there's an open seat within sight -- except for a few of those listed under the "Hall of Shame" tag. I also don't take pictures of elderly people, visibly pregnant women, or anyone who looks like they might have a disability. Of course, it's important to keep in mind that there's no way of knowing whether someone has a disability just by looking at them. ...
she looks so happy with her fancy coat and purse
Hey man I paid the same as you did to get on this train

of all the people this woman looks like she deserves it the most… it looks like her kid wore her to nothing.
*ahem*
sweet stink eye
